Statement on the Shooting at the Sikh Temple in Oak Creek, WI

Pratham USA condemns the violence against the Sikh community in Oak Creek, Wisconsin, that ended in the deaths of seven individuals, including the gunman, and the wounding of several others.  While details regarding the identity and motivation for the shooting are still unfolding and the community grapples with this horrific tragedy, Pratham USA wishes to express condolences to the Sikh community, the families of the victims of this wonton act of violence, and the entire Oak Creek community as they come together to cope with their pain.
