Pratham Chicago YP Network – May 2010

The Pratham Chicago Young Professionals Network hosted its first event on May 6th, 2010 to raise awareness of Pratham and funds for children in India. The happy hour drew a dynamic crowd of 30 young professionals from around Chicago who were invested in supporting education initiatives for India's youth.

The evening kicked off with a lively reception at Spoon on Wells Street, followed by an introduction by Pratham YP's committee members. The committee informed the attendees about Pratham's groundbreaking techniques that have reached over 33 million children and highlighted the importance of funding the organization.

The event was a great success and the funds raised from the event helped impact the education of over 20 children. Special thanks to Spoon for providing their wonderful venue and to all of those who attended the event for your continued support of education pioneers. The next event will be in the fall of 2010.
