High School Students Raise Funds for Pratham

From India Journal:

WALNUT, CA – In a joint effort The Troy High School, Sunny Hills High School and the Diamond Bar Schools joined together and put on a grand “Hum Tum… …From me to you” cultural program at the Cal Poly Pomona University Theater on June 9, a show of staunch support for their less privileged counterparts in their land of the origin, India.

Talk time was limited to short dance introductions and a five minute talk by Nihal Satyadev on Pratham history, model, and current progress. Volunteers back stage with walkie talkies ensured there were no delays between items and the event flowed smoothly. Dev Keshav, Pratham Volunteer and Board Member said he is extremely proud of these young adults, who have exhibited such drive and interest to lead and serve in their community in spite of their busy schedules with school and other commitments. On behalf of the Organization and the kids of India who are supported by its programs, he expressed his thanks to the participants and wished them continued success in all their endeavors....READ MORE
