Alka Yagnik Concert

On November 13th, 2010 in  Long Beach, key supporters of India's leading education movement hosted a record turnout of 1750 guests at the Long Beach Terrace Theater to raise awareness and funds to help end illiteracy in India. Pratham was proud to host Bollywood singing legend Alka Yagnik. With an impassioned plea from Pratham USA co-founder Yogi Patel, the completely volunteer-led fundraiser helped bring the chapter total to $800K for 2010.
