You can make a difference!

Pratham's goal is to ensure that every child in India is in school and learning well. We need your support to help us reach this goal! 

You can be involved with Pratham in many ways:

Donate: Your donation will fund many Pratham programs including pre-schools, community libraries, the Read India program, the outreach program and Pratham books. To donate online, find other ways to donate or learn more about the impact of your donation, click here.

Volunteer: Pratham USA is driven primarily by volunteers and we are always looking for committed individuals who can help us make a difference. You can volunteer with your local chapter or for Pratham USA's office in Houston. Please fill out our volunteer form. One of our volunteer coordinators will get in touch with you soon.

Attend a chapter event: Our chapters hold events frequently to raise funds and awareness. Our calendar of events will provide you with information about upcoming events in your city. Or you can email us at info@prathamusa.org with your name, phone number and address and we will keep you updated.

Start a chapter: If there is not Pratham chapter in your city, you might want to help us establish one. Please email us at info@prathamusa.org or call us at 1-866-PRATHAM for more information.

Hold a fund-raising event: You can now hold your own fundraising event for Pratham. If you would like to raise funds for Pratham by taking part in a sporting event (e.g. a marathon) or holding a fundraising party for your friends and colleagues, you can create your own fund-raising page and keep track of how much you have raised. 

Celebrate a special occasion with Pratham: If you would like to make a gift to Pratham in lieu of a birthday or wedding present or in honor of someone you love, you can donate online and specify the purpose of your donation. We will even send an e-card to the person letting them know you care!
