Computer Assisted Learning Centers

These centers, set up in schools as well as communities, provide children and youth from low-income families with access to computers. Computers are also used to improve the student’s learning in subjects like math, science, history and geography. Key achievements in 2008-09 - 70,000 children learn computers in 187 computer labs in 7 states - Learning levels of children in subjects like math have increased significantly due to the program.
