Pratham USA, Tri-State
The Tri-State chapter, comprising the states of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, is Pratham USA's largest chapter. Chapter members include some of the most prominent names of the Indo-American community in the area.
Pratham Yuva NY consists of young professionals and students in New York and Tri-State area, The group works to raise funds for Pratham and awareness about its program through various activities. For more details, click here.

Tri-State Gala 2009
The Tri-State Annual Gala 2009 was held at The Pierre at Taj in New York City on Dec 3. Keynote speaker, Fareed Zakaria, Editor of Newsweek International and host of Fareed Zakaria GPS provided thoughtful commentary.

The evenings proceedings were moderated by Daljit Dhaliwal, anchor of Worldfocus, an international nightly TV news program seen nationwide on PBS, and featured a special appearance by Rahul Kadakia, a recognized auctioneer at Christie's jewelry auctions. Popular indie-rock singer, Falu, provided the entertainment for the evening.

The event, attended by over 400 people, raised over $1.2 million for Pratham's programs in India.

Tabla restaurant in New York celebrated its tenth anniversary on February 9, 2009 with a benefit dinner for Pratham USA. Renowned master chefs Dan Barber (Blue Hill and Blue Hill at Stone Barns), David Chang (Momofuku), Michael Romano (Union Square Cafe), Marcus Samuelsson (Aquavit) and Melissa Walnock (Tabla) joined Chef Floyd Cardoz of Tabla to create a unique and memorable dining experience.

Tri-State Gala
Pratham TriState Annual Gala 2008 was held at Pier Sixty on September 26, 2008. An audience of over 350 was treated to a elegant evening of dinner and captivating performances by Indoflame,a spectacular ensemble of International Artists, choreographed by Tabla Maestro, Sameer Chatterjee. Dan Nainan excited the audience with his stand up comedy. Management Guru, CK Prahlad gave the keynote address. Sandhya Jain-Patel of Christy's Auction House emceed the event and noted Indian film actor, Rahul Bose was the special guest of the evening.
