Pratham USA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We are proud of our exemplary record in using donor contributions responsibly and efficiently. Since our inception, we have focused on keeping our overheads low and on maximizing the impact of every dollar received. In 2010, over 94% of our overall expenses went directly to support our programs in India - only 2% went towards overheads!

 

We are also proud to report that Charity Navigator, America's premier independent charity evaluator, awarded Pratham USA its highest four star rating for our sound fiscal management for four years in a row.  Our overall score also places us among the top 1 percent of all non-profits rated by Charity Navigator.

 

Despite the sluggish economic conditions, Pratham USA acheived a revenue of $8.6 million in 2010. Thanks to the support of our donors, including the Gates and Hewlett Foundation, we were able to maintain our level of investment in programs.
